Tuesday 9/13 -
Read "The Wanderer" pp 21-24 and answer questions 2 & 3 on p. 24.
Discuss poems/answers.
HW: "The Wife's Lament" pp 25-26 and answer question 1 & 2 on p. 26.

Wednesday 9/14 -
Discuss "The Wife's Lament"
HW: Answer questions 1-5, 8, and 9 on p. 27...I will collect these on Thursday (25 pts.)

Thursday 9/15 –
AP MC Practice
HW: Review characteristics of A-S poetry

Friday 9/20 -
Quiz: Anglo-Saxon Poem Analysis (50 pts.)
HW: Beowulf, pp 36-46

HW for Friday 9/9

Read "From Legend to History" pp 4-12. (Includes "The Changing English Language") In your vocabulary notebook, define in context any words with which you are not familiar.

(I believe I have a CPS quiz on this essay from last year, so be sure you read it!)
